The BALLARD™ Neonates Multi-Access Closed Suction Catheter System MAC (Multi-Access Catheter) is a 5 Fr in-line, endotracheal catheter designed for accessing the neonatal airway. It allows the administration of surfactant without disconnection from the ventilator and provides better distribution of surfactant compared to a conventional catheter while providing all of the benefits of a closed system.
